About Us – Ipswich String Quartet

Ipswich String Quartet plays a wide range of musical styles; from Classical & Romantic favourites, to Latin American Tangos, Pop, Jazz and requested arrangements. We are a professional, experienced and well-presented group of musicians who are committed to providing high quality music at weddings, events and many other important occasions.  Our usual attire is formal black, but we can wear brighter colours if you prefer, and whether indoors or outdoors, all the string quartet needs is four chairs and protection from the weather.

Our members studied at prestigious music schools throughout the UK including the Royal Academy of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Royal College of Music and the London College of Music.

We are all experienced musicians who have performed at hundreds of weddings and functions at many different venues. We are sensitive to your requirements and through extensive experience; in touch with the feel of your function in order to help you choose the music if required.  With our passion and love for great music making, we are dedicated to bringing elegance and class to your special occasion!
